Rotaract Club
Currently the Stafford Rotary Club sponsors a Rotaract Club at the University of Mary Washington.
The University of Mary Washington Rotaract Club is part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. Above all other principles, "Service Above Self" is the credo that guides the U.M.W. Rotaract. The club's projects are designed to improve the quality of life at home and abroad.
Traditions and Projects of U.M.W. Rotaract:

Organizing fundraising activities to defray costs of their many projects.

Decorating a tree and volunteering for the Festival of the Trees, to benefit Hope House.

Sponsoring Russian orphans for adoption by U.S. families.

Providing leadership in Rotary District 7610 activities, such as acting as District Conference Moderator.

Participating in M.W.C. activities such as Homecoming Parade and Make a Difference Day.

Taking indigent children:
On Christmas shopping trips and buying presents for their entire family.
On trips to the National Zoo and the Va. Science Museum.
To the Saturday Children's Matinees at the Riverside Dinner Theatre.

Sponsoring the Senior Citizen's Prom.
