Rotary's highest honor for an individual Rotarian is the Service Above Self Award. The award recognizes Rotarians who have rendered exemplary humanitarian service with an emphasis on personal volunteer efforts. On May 1, 2010 Past District Governor Sandra Duckworth was given the Service above Self Award.
